Overview

Focus Demolition played a pivotal role in the Ranford Road Bridge project as part of the greater Thornlie-Cockburn Link development in Canning Vale. Our team was entrusted with the task of demolishing the old bridge to make way for its modern replacement.

This project required meticulous planning and execution, as we needed to carefully dismantle the existing structure while maintaining traffic flow on this busy arterial route. Our expertise in working within live environments was crucial, allowing us to carry out the demolition safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to daily commuters.

Results

The demolition was a critical first step in alleviating traffic congestion and supporting the development of the new Ranford Road Station. Our work paved the way for a wider, longer, and higher bridge that now includes dedicated bus lanes and improved pedestrian and cycling access.

By successfully completing this bridge demolition project, Focus Demolition contributed to a project that improves current traffic flow and future-proofs the network for the growing Canning Vale industrial area. Our involvement in this METRONET project underscores our capability to handle large-scale infrastructure demolitions that have a lasting positive impact on Western Australia’s urban landscape.
